Campus Master Plan (CMP) is the blueprint for Wakefield’s future outdoor campus, thoughtfully designed to harness our beautiful grounds for transformative outdoor learning. This visionary plan will feature innovative, sustainable elements to elevate every aspect of STEM education like outdoor classrooms and labs, nature trails, exploration zones, art and performance spaces, gardens, and athletic and wellness areas.

GEMS is a dedicated group of Wakefield parents and supporters who fund key school initiatives through monthly giving. As valued investors in Wakefield’s Campus Master Plan (CMP), GEMS members commit to recurring donations that collectively create a powerful impact. United by a shared vision, GEMS members see firsthand the incredible growth and impact of their combined contributions!

Designing a state-of-the-art outdoor learning environment requires a diverse team of experts, including landscape architects, educational consultants, structural and environmental engineers, outdoor planners and ecologists. This initial $100,000 investment will fund a specialized team to develop a comprehensive design plan that meets our educational goals and honors and preserves the land’s natural resources.

GEM members can make a recurring monthly donation at any amount that inspires them. Like crowdfunding, every GEMS monthly donation combines together to create a collective impact equivalent to a major donor. No amount is too small to make a big difference.

Committing to a monthly donation provides Wakefield with a steady stream of funds, allowing us to confidently advance our CMP. If every family swapped just one $5 coffee or $25 Chick-Fil-A drive-thru each month for a recurring donation, we could raise over half of the funds needed to develop the CMP within a year and fast-track our outdoor learning plans.

Developing the CMP is just the first step in our bold vision for outdoor learning. The ongoing support of GEMS members will more swiftly bring our outdoor campus to life, propelling Wakefield forward as a leader in STEM and revolutionizing how Wakefield students learn.
