Everyone Deserves A Home

Imagine a world in which every San Franciscan has a home. Each night, formerly unhoused citizens would have a safe, stable place to rest easy and recharge for the next day. A place where they can begin to recover from the traumas that led to their housing instability. A place where they can build full lives with meaning, stability, joy, and connection.

We're working hard to make that a reality. And we need to grow, to spread our wings, and become and independent organization to do so. Please help us get there so we can help provide more San Franciscans with a place to call home.

Our campaign has just started, and we'll be updating this page regularly with progress updates. For more information on how to get involved, please contact Nora Niesen, Director of Fund Development, at noraniesen@dishsf.org.

We need your help to raise $4million to make it possible.

Transition Advisory Group

We are especially grateful to our committed volunteer advisors, donors, and ambassadors for their dedication to supporting DISH's transition to an independent 501(c)(3):

Andrea Evans, Consultant and Advisor, former director at Tipping Point
         Rebecca Foster
, CEO of San Francisco Housing Accelerator Fund
         Keith Geeslin
, Partner at Francisco Partners
         Rob Gitin
, Consultant, Co-founder and former ED of At the Crossroads
         Carla Javits

We've been doing it for 18 years

Every day, we provide high-quality, permanent housing to San Franciscans who suffer from serious health issues. With our help, they can get off the streets, rebuild their lives, and strengthen our communities.
