Caring For The Whole Child
A quality education is more than just learning the important fundamental reading and math skills. It’s also about impactful childhood memories and experiences.
At Christ’s Haven, we put an emphasis on caring for the whole child, including their mental, physical, spiritual, and academic needs. And we see each day how it makes a difference:
77% of Christ’s Haven 4th-12th graders who took STAAR test improved at least one of their ratings.
Christ’s Haven youth missed an average of 7 days of school, compared to foster youth who missed an average of 25 days.
90% of school-age Christ’s Haven youth receive tutoring, totaling close to 400 hours of individual and peer tutoring.
Your generous donation will ensure displaced youth receive educational support along with all of the aspects of childhood experiences that are so important.
