Woyute Regenerative Production Farm
We are launching the Woyute Regenerative Production Farm campaign—a huge step in our plans to support our community through sustainable agriculture. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support this growing initiative!
Help us lay the foundation for Pine Ridge Reservation’s first educational and operating farm. Makoce has acquired 40 acres of Tribal allotted land, where we envision a regenerative farm that will foster a diverse ecosystem, including wildflowers, hemp, trees, nuts, bees, chickens, and more!
Support the Vision of the Regenerative Production Farm
At Makoce, we are building Pine Ridge Reservation’s first educational and operational farm on 40 acres of Tribal allotted land. The Woyute Regenerative Production Farm is designed to create a thriving ecosystem that will include wildflowers, hemp, trees, nuts, bees, chickens, and more. We have established a permanent Mobile Poultry Processing Unit on the farm and are currently constructing a barn and additional infrastructure to expand our regenerative practices and support local producers. Our next steps include achieving USDA certification to open up larger markets for our producers and developing a food storage system to extend the selling season. These efforts are key to strengthening the local economy by creating more opportunities for producers and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our community’s agricultural practices.
