Ride the Divide: A Journey of Resilience and Hope
Zack's resilience and determination have carried him through some of life's toughest challenges. Now, he's taking on the Continental Divide to give back to the community that helped him when he needed it most.
Support Team Living Proof today as they set out on a 2,808 mile mountain biking journey from Banff, Canada, to Antelope Wells, New Mexico raising funds and awareness for Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation. Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly impact the lives of our Special Operations Forces and their families.
Why This Ride Matters
Zack Garner, a former Green Beret with the 7th Special Forces Group, faced an unexpected turn in his life when a traumatic brain injury ended his 10-year Army career and led to epilepsy. Determined to find natural ways to manage his condition and break free from the cycle of medications, Zack turned to cycling and fitness, which became his therapy.
In 2015, Zack embarked on a cross-country ride from Washington State to Florida, raising awareness and funds for Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation (TFDSOF). That ride not only changed Zack’s life but also fueled his passion for helping others.
Now, on the ten-year anniversary of his original ride, Zack, along with his long-time friend Mike, will be mountain biking the Continental Divide from Banff, Canada, to Antelope Wells, New Mexico. Together, as "Team Living Proof," they aim to raise $100,000 for TFDSOF to support others who need the same life-saving assistance that Zack received.
