Brown Girls Code works to close the gender and diversity gap in tech by equipping underrepresented girls ages 7-18 with the skills and training needed to pursue 21st century opportunities in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, and other STEAM-related fields. Their programs aim to increase participants' knowledge, enthusiasm, confidence, and technical acumen, while also building a supportive sisterhood.

Help us provide scholarships and weekly certification training in cybersecurity for girls in Grades 8 through 12. Girls who complete the 2-YR track program will receive a voucher to take their first IT Certification in high school.

Help us promote literacy in BGC so that every member receives ONE career book created to inspire and empower Black and Brown youth to explore exciting careers in S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), IT, and Cybersecurity. These books are designed to help young readers see themselves as future innovators and leaders in fields where their representation is greatly needed.

BGC Club STEAM Kits

Help us promote engagement and innovation throughout our clubs with the use of steam kits. At the end of each academic year, donations allow us to provide each member with a STEAM kit to work on during SUMMER months.

Scholarships for Grads

Help us provide a $1000 scholarship to our BGC Graduating High School Seniors who have successfully balanced their academics and BGC curriculum. Over 90% of our participants are involved in BGC programs for at least 2 years.
