About Task Force Dagger
Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation provides assistance to wounded, ill, or injured US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) members and their families. We respond to urgent needs, conduct Rehabilitative Adaptive Events (RAE), and provide next-generation health solutions for issues facing our service members.
Founded and run by special ops veterans, we understand the complexities of the long journey to physical and family wellness. Each of our programs are designed to provide the tools and atmosphere for SOF families to heal, rebuild, and move forward together with mission, purpose, and focus.
About the Spin-a-Thon
Team Sponsors will contribute $1,000 or more for a dedicated bike to ride during the Spin-a-Thon. Sponsors will organize their own team of 8+ riders, who will take turns riding continuously for 8 hours.
If additional riders are needed, the event organizers will help fill the team. A session will last 30 minutes, giving each rider the option to spin for ½ hour or 1 hour.
At the end of each 30-minute session, the number of kilojoules (kJ) or energy exerted, will be recorded from each bike.
At the end of the Spin-a-Thon, the team and the individual with the highest amount of kJ’s wins!
Each Team Rider is encouraged to give a minimum donation of $25 and can solicit friends & family to donate too!
