ACCT Philly is the only open intake animal shelter and animal care and control provider in Philadelphia, serving the City of Philadelphia by contract. From dogs and cats to small animals, reptiles, birds, and wildlife, ACCT Philly helps as many as 18,000 animals each year through its field services division and at its animal shelter facility in North Philadelphia.
Andy's Story
Like so many dogs who come to ACCT Philly, Andy needed more than a just new place to call home. He needed emergency care at a veterinary hospital to stop a bleeding wound, surgery to amputate his leg when it didn't heal properly and time in a quiet place to recover before he would be ready to be adopted.
Thanks to the support of people like you who donate and foster, Andy got everything he needed, and today he is safe and loved in his forever home.
