We believe that preservation creates a strong sense of place and adds to the architectural and visual richness of the community by displaying the roots of its character and diversity.

Inspiring Imagination for 100 years

The Indianapolis Propylaeum
In 1924, Indianapolis Propylaeum president, Mary Stewart Carey, started what is now The Children's Museum of Indianapolis in our carriage house. 100 years later and this museum has become the largest children's museum in the world and draws in over a million visitors each year.
Join us as The Children's Museum of Indianapolis returns to their roots and discusses what the next 100 years of inspiring imagination will look like. Program speakers include:
