Food for Others Needs You!

Every year during the Spring and Summer, we experience a drop in donations (both food and monetary). This takes place even as we continue to see a sustained and growing need in our community. We need your help to continue to meet the demand and empower our neighbors who are experiencing food insecurity.

With Spring comes warmer weather and the re-introduction of seasonal programming, to include our three community gardens, gleaning efforts at Fairfax County farmer's markets, and food rescue from local farms. With produce as the #1 requested item here at Food for Others, the warmer weather brings much joy and vibrant energy to our market as we see a variety of client favorites make a reappearance on our shelves for the season.
