Memorial Fund

In memory of our cherished board member, Robin, Valley of the Sun United Way has joined forces with his wife, Shawna Reed, and their family to establish the Robin S. Reed Memorial Fund. This fund is dedicated to supporting the initiatives and causes that Robin held close to his heart and those with which he was actively involved until his passing.

Robin fervently advocated uniting our community and often emphasized that diversity, equity, and inclusion were not solely defined by our race and gender. In honor of this legacy, the memorial fund will focus on three particular organizations that benefited from his deeply dedicated efforts: Impact AZ - A statewide accelerator initiative designed to bridge the racial wealth gap for underserved entrepreneurs working closely with the Millionaire Mastermind Academy, a non-profit organization with a mission to eradicate poverty through entrepreneurship. STN's Community Collaborative - A flagship program of the Social Television Network that Robin co-produced and hosted and which highlights the actions of business and community leaders in motion that cultivate diversity, equity, access, and inclusion. And, Treasure House – An AZ residence helping young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) find a supportive community and a personalized plan for achieving independence, inclusion, and purpose as they transition into adulthood.
