Youth in Nature has Educated Over 4,000 Students Since 2015!
Each participating 4th-grade class enjoys three days of engaging activities led by TVC’s educator consultant, Ann Brown, a credentialled teacher.
This transformative experience gives children the opportunity to connect with nature - fostering a deeper understanding of their environment, and instilling a sense of environmental stewardship.
When children and families understand the value of land to their health, wildlife habitat, and the watershed, they will act to protect it.
As we look ahead to the 2024-2025 school year, we are eager to continue offering this transformative experience to as many 4th-grade classes in the Tri-Valley as possible.
